Following his successful completion of the bar exam in 2004, Matt Palentchar began his law career with a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida, where he practiced in a number of legal areas, such as real estate, estate planning, civil, criminal and business law. However, he tired of life in that type of firm and went off on his own, running Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A. until about 2010, when a life threatening illness and personal issues caused him to leave Florida for a time.
One thing that can be said about Matt Palentchar is that he is tough. He worked through everything and soon became well again. He also overcame those personal problems and decided to return to Florida, feeling more determined and better than ever. More focused on his legal career, he formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he now lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs.
Matt Palenchar’s current firm features a far more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law, which means he has ably represented hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions. However, he hasn’t given up on the smaller, more run-of-the-mill real estate work in the process, which means he also performs tasks such as title searches, title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings. He can perform any task and do it better than most other lawyers. He also is more focused on his community. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, he spends his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children and helping out wherever he can.
